Jack received a Bachelor’s of Science in Landscape Architecture degree from West Virginia University in 1973. In 1985 he co-founded LBA as well as served as the Chairman to the Western Pennsylvania/Delaware ASLA Chapter. Jack is currently a member of the ASLA, APA, National Trust for Historic Preservation, Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, and CNU.

Fred received a Bachelor’s of Science in Landscape Architecture degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 1973 where he received the ASLA Award of Merit for Excellence in the Field of Study in Landscape Architecture and is the 2015 recipient of the College of Arts & Architecture Alumni Award. Fred is a member of the ASLA, CNU, and the City Parks Alliance.

Joe Hackett joined LBA in 1990 and was promoted to Principal in 2004. Joe received a Bachelor’s of Science in Landscape Architecture degree from Penn State University in 1990. While in school, he earned the ASLA Award of Merit for Excellence in the Field of Study in Landscape Architecture. Joe is currently a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

Dan McDowell joined LaQuatra Bonci Associates in 2006 and was promoted to Project Manager in 2012 and Senior Associate in 2014. Dan received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Penn State University in 2006.
